Welcome to Littlehampton Swimming Club

Established in 1983, we offer training and competition in a friendly and supportive environment to swimmers age 5+. We train at Littlehampton Swimming Centre, Arun Leisure Centre and Steyning Leisure Centre.

We run our swim school (iSwim) for children age 4+ at pools in Worthing and Lancing.

  • Annual Award Winners Announced

    Littlehampton Swimming Club's Annual Award Trophies were presented on Saturday 16th July by Malcom Belchamber MBE at our AGM & Awards evening. For details of winners see awards page. Click the About Us button above, then Annual Awards. The new Club Captains are: Katie McHale, Charles Redwood, Lucy Warren & Connor McHale.

  • UK School Games

    Congratulations to William Condron who has been selected to represent England South in the UK School Games in September. Will trains at St Bede's School, is a member of our Sussex & Arena League Team and is our Chairman's eldest son. His younger brothers Albie and Henry train at LSC.


  • Premier League Gala

    Well done Team on a great performance. We came 4th, not far behind 2nd & 3rd places. Many new PBs and most other swims on PB. Well done to Charlie Hodges on gaining his first 2012 County Time. A very enjoyable gala!


  • Sussex County BAGCat Results

    Congratulations to our BAGCat winners: 1st 9yr girls Lauren Boothby; 2nd 11yr boys James Fairlie; 2nd 12yr boys Sam Munro; 3rd 9yr boys Lewis Smart; 7th 9yr boys Charlie Hodges; 8th 11yr girls Natalia Boothby; 8th 14yr boys Harry James. Those aged 12yrs & under who finished in the top 8 will be invited for county training.

  • Sussex League Round 2

    1st place against East Grinstead & 1066 - A fantastic result, well done Team Littlehampton on a superb performance!


  • Virtual Gala

    Our 'A' team came 2nd, just 2 pts behind Guernsey and our 'B' team came 8th, one place higher than last year. Well done everyone on some great swims!


  • Arena League Round 3

    Fantastic swimming everyone - coming 3rd in Saturday's gala means you have finished 9th in Division 1, our highest ever finish in this league!


  • Arena League Round 2

    2nd place - an excellent result which puts us in the middle gala for the next round at Reading on 11th December. This guarantees us finishing 7th-12th in Division 1. This is our best ever result in this division - well done everyone!


  • Simon Miller

    Congratulations to Simon Miller on his S9 50m freestyle Silver Medal in the Commonwealth Games. He also set new British Record. Simon trained at LSC up until about 3 years ago when he moved to the Manchester High Performance Centre.


  • Arena League Round 1

    The first round saw us coming 4th in a very close and exciting gala - a fantastic result against some top teams! A great team effort - well done!


  • Kingsland Gala

    Our team came 4th in the Kingsland Paper Gala at K2 on 25th Sept. A huge 83% of swims were PBs. A great result, well done team!


  • County Relays 2010

    Our 11/12 year boys win Gold in the medley relay and Silver in the freestyle relay at Sussex County Relay Champs. Our 9/10 year girls win Silver in the medley relay. Congratulations!


Sussex County Relays

 

48 Littlehampton swimmers competed in the 2011 County Relays at Prince Regent Pool, Brighton. There were 11 finals swum. The 9/10yr and the 11/12yr boys both won Gold in their freestyle and medley relays. The 9 yr boys picked up silver and bronze and the 9 yr girls a bronze. The 10 yr girls won silver in their medley, but narrowly missed out on bronze in the freestyle. Congratulations Team Littlehampton!
